Many of the established forest gardens in the UK are in private ownership, however many of them are also used as teaching spaces to learn about forest gardening or about permaculture and others can be visited by arrangement. The planting of more forest gardens on publicly owned land will provide additional opportunities for people to use and explore these spaces both for personal enjoyment and also for more organised learning of all kinds.
