Vision and mission

To bring us individually, and in our communities to a new level of harmony and well being through planting, eating from, and enjoying Forest Gardens

  • To support communities to access funding and expertise to create communally run and publically accessible Forest Gardens
  • To raise the profile of Forest Gardens to promote their role in enhancing food sovereignty and well being, and gardening with nature
  • To connect as many people as possible to these inspiring spaces

  • People support what they create – we support community leadership
  • Inclusion: all stakeholders of communal space have a say in its development
  • Transparency: our processes will be transparent to all; we encourage the same with all our partners
  • Growing a forest garden is also growing our minds
  • Our work recognises and supports our connection to and interdependence with 8.7m other species on this astonishing planet
